RESPONSIBILITES

• Support the rink site manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the ice rink

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the team during shifts, addressing any issues or concerns

• Oversee staff management, including training, welfare, rotas, and ensuring adherence to operational standards (timekeeping, grooming, uniform standards, customer service)

• Ensure the safety of the general public and maintain a high standard of service

• Manage customer complaints and service issues, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions

ICE RINK TECHNICIAN

£190/day

SKILLS

• Experience in ice rink maintenance and operation

• Strong technical skills, particularly with refrigeration systems, Zambonis, and other ice resurfacing equipment

• Ability to perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on equipment

RESPONSIBILITES

• Operate and maintain ice resurfacing equipment, including Zambonis, to ensure a smooth and safe ice surface

• Monitor and adjust refrigeration systems to maintain optimal ice conditions

• Ensure the rink meets all health and safety standards, including regular checks of the ice surface and surrounding areas

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of rink infrastructure, including barriers, lighting, and sound systems
